Saturday evening we drove out to Bertram to join my bestfriend, Tina for their festivities that included "Trunk or Treat" where locals backed their cars up and handed out treats from the back of their vehicles. We didn't goto it, we just stayed on the street where her salon (Poofy Doo's) is on and had a blast. Hayden LOVED Tina's haunted litttle house. He kept going back through it over and over and over!
He loved getting out of his stroller at each house we'd come to. He loved banging on their doors. I kept trying to show him to gently knock. He enjoyed every moment of it! It was funny, some people would put their bowl or bucket to his level so he could grab what he wanted. He would do so, put it in his bag, then go for more. LOL Greedy little guy! He loved the house where several of the guys jumped out at him. One in particular was dressed as a warewolf and Hayden laughed at him when he tried to scare Hayden, then called him Sugar! LOL He got lots of good stuff. One lady gave him the animal crackers and a little stuffed bear. It was so sweet! It just goes to show we have wonderful neighbors and a great community.
